Free Downloads of the songs, "Santa Claus Express" and a version of "White Christmas" can be downloaded for FREE from the Riverview Studios webpage. A big thanks to Mandy for helping with vocals.

3DT's Kier Byrnes will be MCing The Cassavettes Reunion show Friday, Novemeber 25th. Members of Three Day Threshold will also be performing their original Christmas song "I Want A Zoo For Christmas." Check out the video of the song on youtube (it's the same song they played live on FOX TV last year) HERE. Sidenote: This will mark the 13th time, the band has played at The Paradise. Here's to lucky numbers. All proceeds will go to the Dorchester Boys and Girls Clubs, so not only will it be a good time, its a great cause!

9/20/11: The New England Craft Beer Fest

The New England Craft Beer Fest was amazing. It was great to play to such a big crowd (over 4000 and try over 80 beers). Well OK, maybe we didnt make it to all 80 beers, but we came close! We'll be taking a short hiatus for the fall. Best wishes to Kier and Mandy and hopefully see you soon!

8/11/11: Some Big Shows!

We got some HUGE shows lined up: Mass Brewer's Guild Brewfest on Sept 2 (6-9pm), Virgo a GoGo (Sept 10 at Atwoods), Northeastern University Welcome Week (Sept 6 @ afterHOURS, Sept 16 @ NU's Freshman Quad)

7/15/11: 3DT with Trace Adkins and Uncle Kracker

Thanks to Trace Adkins and Uncle Kracker and the good people of Meadowbrook Pavillion for having us all share the bill up there. It was an awesome time. This weekend, July 15th and 16th, Three Day Threshold will be in New York City doing a couple of shows. For more info, check out the band's facebook page. Hope to see you down there!

6/1/11: 3DT shares a bill with country music star, Trace Adkins

You may have noticed that aside from the July 3rd show opening for country star, Trace Adkins up at Meadowbrook Pavillion, there aren't too many 3DT shows lined up. We are taking a bit of a hiatus, and if the batteries don't quite recharge, well, we may hiatus longer. There are a few shows planned through September, hope to see you at one of them. Don't forget to check out our stuff on i-tunes or in the discography section of this webpage.

5/20/11: Headlining Harpoonfest

We are playing last under the big tent at Harpoonfest alongside some awesome musicians like Will Dailey and Gravel Pit (special reunion show!). Hope you can make it. If not grab a copy of the May issue of Metronome Magazine, we are on the cover of that. Part 2 of our Tour Blog is also featured in the May issue of the Nosie (our name is on the cover of that magazine as well), so be sure to pick up a copy!

5/8/11: Rodfest

Thanks to all who came to Rodfest 9: The Fun Parade. I hope everyone enjoyed how we mixed up the format a bit. Big thanks to Drink and Hunt, as well as some of the other sponsors, for helping us make that happen too. Everyone I talked to said it was "The Best Rodfest Ever." On behalf of my family and Greg's friends, I want to thank all of you for the best day ever as we continue to build on the past successes of the Gregory "Rodney" Moynahan Memorial Scholarship.

3/4/11: Good to be back home

We made it back safe and sound from our tour of the Middle East and Northern Africa. The troops were great; many of them told us that our music made them feel like they were home, if just for one night. Overall, our trip took us through 7 countries total enroute. The Noise Magazine has asked for exclusive rights to out tour blog, so we will be publishing that starting in their April issue. We have some really good stories to share and will get you more info on that as it becomes available. Today, our picture was in the printed version of the Boston Globe as part of their "Road Maps for Roots Music" feature. Tonight, if you can make it, we are playing Tommy Doyles in Harvard Square for a benefit for Dana Farber. If you are around, we'd love to see you. Its a great cause!

2/4/11: Shake, Shake, Shake! Shake, Shake, Shake! Shake Djibouti!

With the riots going on in Egypt, its a real interesting time to be in Northern Africa. We had to make some adjustments in our itinerary due to security reasons as there have been some residual protests in downtown Djibouti. On a lighter note, the shows have been going over real well and whenever someone says the word "Djibouti," we still crack up like teenagers. Met some more cool troops; we want to give a big shout out to the servicemen at Fort Lemonier who loaned us their rifles (thank God they weren't loaded?!?!) and let us hang out in the turret of the Humvees. Also, big thanks to the navy guys who are taking us out on a boat patrol tomorrow and the K-9 unit who graciously allowed us to be attacked by their guard dogs.

2/2/11: God Bless the Rains down in...

I can't believe we are here! As David keeps saying over and over with amazement... "we are in F'ing AFRICA!!!" We had a bit of difficulty getting in; not all the band or all the instruments got in at the same time due to the snowstorms in the Northeast United States... But, the troops here have all been great and majorly supportive (real fun to hang out with too). In addition to the hundreds of really cool service men and women we have met so far, we got top meet the commanding officer of the base and his executive officer which was pretty neat. Anyhow, hope to share more stories later; big props to Dan and Susan of the AFE for all their help!

1/23/11: Last stop before our Middle East tour!

Hope you can come by to one of our favorite watering hole's, Atwood's Tavern, Saturday 1/29 from 10 to close. Supporting us will be our good friends The Whiskey Boys. This is our last stop before we head out to The Middle East to support the troops. Next stop Djibouti!

1/15/11: Toby Keith and Three Day Threshold combine forces?

Toby Keith is opening up a new restaurant in Patriot Place (by the New England Patriot's Stadium) called "I Love This Bar and Grill", named after his favorite song and has Three Day Threshold to play. More details on this later!

12/20/10: Three Day Threshold on TV again!!

The band is on TV again; this time playing on FOX TV's morning show Dec 23; roughly 9am. To get the viewers in the holiday spirit, we are going to be playing some of our holiday tunes . Hope you check us out! Later that day we will be doing some of the holiday songs at TT the Bears for their holiday show!

12/17/10: Three Day Threshold on National TV: Brewmasters!!!

The band just had a song on our new favorite TV show, Brewmasters, a show put on by the Discovery Channel and Dogfish Head Brewery, and no surprise that the show is dedicated to the craft of making fine ales. If you haven't seen this series yet, you should definitely tune in. I suggest the one on Ancient Ales!

12/06/10: Who Wants A Zoo For Christmas?

Once again, it's our favorite time of year (tied with National Whiskey Drinking Day and pretty much any time there is a BeerFest). To celebrate we played our annual Benefit for the Childrens Hospital (which also synces up nicely with our friend Brendan Bartley's birthday). The good news, we raised over $1,100 for The Children's Hospital as part of the show. We got some more shows coming up, Friday 12/10 at The Plough and Stars and Mount Snow in Vermont 12/18. If you cant get out to see a show, feel free to watch this Holiday video we put online with The Summer Villains. There are more holiday songs you can check out there as well! Enjoy and Merry Christmas!

11/18/10: 3DT is Proud to Serve our Country; We're going to The Middle East!!!

Three Day Threshold has been invited to do a tour of The Middle East (not the club in Cambridge, but the actual Middle East!) for February 2011. We are so humbled and honored by this opportunity and extremely grateful for a chance to give back to the troops who have done so much for our country. Stay tuned for more details.

11/01/10: How should I title this post: "Out-Rock'n'Rolled by my Band," "Have you Seen Our Trophy" or "Blame the Open Bar"?

Have you seen our trophy? I thought I was pulling a rock and roll move by skipping the awards ceremony for Boston Magazine's Best Of's held last week at the W Hotel (I as busy giving top ranking members of the government of Trinidad and Tobago Three Day Threshold cds). However, my band mates went and they one upped me. After the show, in the mayhem, they lost our "Best Local Band" trophy. Now that's rock n roll. If anybody finds it, please let us know. Thanks, Kier

10/23/10: 3DT wins Boston's "Best Local Band" as part of Boston Magazine's "Best of Boston"!!!

So after quite a delay, we found out that Three Day Threshold won Boston Magazine's award for "Best Local Band", as listed in the October issue of Boston Magazine. This is thanks to YOU and we are very pleased for your help and that you enjoy coming out to see us play. I was sadly unable to attend the awards show, as I was down in the Caribbean working on a project. On the bright side, I did get to meet some of Trinidad and Tobago's top officials including the Commander of the Coast Guard, the senior ranking governors of Tobago, Trinidad and Tobago's Prime Minister Patrick Manning as well as other assorted members of Parliament. Now, I'm just crossing my fingers, hoping there's no international incidents when all of those important Trinidad officials listen to track two on "Straight Out Of The Barrel." I guess that we shall see.

Anyhow, thanks for supporting our band. We really couldn't do it without you. Thanks a million, Kier Byrnes & the boys of Three Day Threshold

PS: We are taking some time from performing off but will be back in December playing a few shows. In the mean time, take a listen to the whole Three Day Threshold discography at www.threedaythreshold.com for free or take a listen on I-tunes and listen to them whenever you want!

10/10/10: Adios Cuba... Hello Trinidad & Tobago!

Sad news, the Cuban part of the tour will be cancelled. Shortly after Raul Castro's announcement to lay off half a million Cubans, the university which was sponsoring the license which got the special visa for the US/Cuba trip, decided to cancel the Cuban portion of the tour. Laying of 1/10th your total population in one sweep may get a little dicey, so it's probably for the best. The bright side is that Kier has been granted an audience with Trinidad and Tobago's Prime Minister, Patrick Manning, as well as other members of Parliament this October. We hope they both like the new cd!

Other than that, we are taking a little time off to work on new material. See you in December (Dec 3: Benefit for the Childrens Hospital @ Copperfields (Boston, MA), Dec 10 @ Plough and Stars (Cambridge, MA) Dec 18 @ Mount Snow (Mt Snow, VT)!

9/24/10: Here We Come, Cuba, Trinidad & Tobago!

Well, Kier anyhow is... Lead singer of Three Day Threshold, Kier Byrnes has been approved by the US and Cuban governments to visit Cuba as well as Trinidad & Tobago this October, where the singer will study its music and culture, as well as other elements of society.
